WHO ARE WE?

NOW YOU'RE PROBABLY CURIOUS?

Who is behind Filmhuis Brugge?

Filmhuis Brugge is coordinated by the non-profit organization Razor Reel, a group of passionate volunteers with years of experience in organizing film-related events and cultural festivals. Our love for film and our drive to create something special bring us together – all on a voluntary basis, just for you!

Over the years, Razor Reel has built a strong reputation through the organization of film festivals, screenings, and other film-related events. Thanks to our focus on quality, diversity, and dedication, we are not only well-known locally but also internationally recognized.

With Filmhuis Brugge, we aim to create a new, vibrant space that enriches the film culture in Bruges and brings people together. Here, films will get the attention they deserve, and together with you, we want to build a thriving Filmhuis.

WHERE DO YOU KNOW US FROM?

The Razor Reel Flanders Film Fest (RRFFF) is the premier Flemish film festival dedicated exclusively to fantastic cinema, focusing on horror, fantasy, and science fiction. Since 2008, the festival has offered a diverse program of national and international genre films that often don't reach the mainstream circuit, held annually during the autumn holiday.

In addition to unique film screenings, RRFFF also hosts lectures, Q&A sessions, and events where filmmakers and film lovers come together in an inspiring festival atmosphere.

With its distinct character and growing audience, RRFFF has become the meeting place for fans of innovative and creative genre cinema in Flanders.

On Sundays, we host free indoor film screenings in our pop-up cinema with 40 seats.
